I’m one of the few non-yelling internet peoples so no worries.
I’m pretty sure the * is just a short hard for “man” or “woman” instead of having to write out both trans women and trans men as they are not interchangable. Hope that helps :)
** Edit** I am wrooong. Sorry everyone. So the * could really mean anything. Not all trans are women or men and it can also stand for anyone outside of the binary. So, see? Yelling would’ve been super embarassing, haha. We all make mistakes or have gaps in our knowledge. The only thing we can do is humble accept corrections and make ammends :)
